To create and encourage academic exchange of knowledge among multidisciplinary researchers
To improve on research efforts of academic oriented individuals.
To convene conferences, seminars, workshops, expert group meetings and trainings when necessary.
To prepare and publish papers, periodicals and reports for distribution in furtherance of international cooperation and understanding on multidisciplinary research work and conduct research survey and studies on issues of intellectual development.
To arrange exchange of specialists and trainers to facilitate transfer of skills and expertise for close exchange of ideas.
To recognise and honour, with awards, institutions/organisation and individuals for their outstanding performance(s) in the promotion of multidisciplinary research at national, regional and international levels.
To assist in formulating codes of conduct, best practices for researchers, and adoption of good and international level so as to ensure that they adhere to certain common ethical standards and principles, and to facilitate capacity building.
